Turning Water into Wine

Jesus turns water into wine at Cana

At a wedding in the town of Cana , the people ran out of wine. Mary , the mother of Jesus Christ, told Him about the problem.

Jesus asked the servants to fill large jars with water. When they did, Jesus turned the water into wine.

The wine was very good — even better than before. This was Jesus’ first miracle.

It showed that Jesus brings joy , new life , and God’s blessing.
